(pinging @ekevu123 - I hope it is ok to do so)

Currently scheduling preferences (Buffer time, Minimum booking notice etc..) are defined per availability schedule / at the availability level.

I believe that it would be more meaningful, if these scheduling preferences were:

    • either moved and defined at the meeting type level
    • Or could be overwritten by scheduling preferences set at the meeting type level

    Rational:

    • Availability schedules are defined so that one schedule can be linked with multiple meeting types.
    • having scheduling preferences linked with a given availability schedule regularly has for consequences to have one availability schedule for each meeting type, because of conflicting scheduling preferences imperative.

    For example:

    • my Availability schedule is Mon-Fri 8h-18h
    • I have two meeting type:
      • One is for "personal conversation" for which I require a buffer time of at least 10 after a new booking and a minimum notice time of "12h"
      • another one is for " Quick support" for which I have no buffer time requirement and minimum notice time is "instant"

Currently this can only be achieved with two meting types and two different availability schedules, thus defeating the point of having re-usable availabilities in the first place.

I hope that this make sense
