      I followed the steps to create FB app, during the step to add an INbox of the Messenger-type this error occurs:

      Failed to load Facebook SDK; please try again

        @imc67 I guess https://www.chatwoot.com/docs/self-hosted/configuration/features/integrations/facebook-channel-setup are the instructions? AFAICT, it doesn't need any additional code modules to be installed on the server.

          Looks like further one has to add an inbox of type facebook https://www.chatwoot.com/docs/product/channels/facebook which I can see is not even available in our package. @imc67 how did you even get to that error page? Or will that inbox type only be visible after doing other steps first?

            @girish @nebulon indeed I used this instruction https://www.chatwoot.com/docs/self-hosted/configuration/features/integrations/facebook-channel-setup

            at step 5 of https://www.chatwoot.com/docs/self-hosted/configuration/features/integrations/facebook-channel-setup#configure-the-facebook-app

            Now after hours later at the same step it gives no error but keeps spinning with "Verifying with Facebook".

            Tomorrow I'll check all the steps again.

            The Twitter-app went smooth and fast, it already works.

              @imc67 maybe this is something to report to @v_shnu or so if it is something to improve on upstream (I mean that endless spinning)

                @imc67 If this issue is still persisting for you, could you please open an issue on the Chatwoot GitHub repo?

                  @v_shnu I succeeded in continuing ... the reason was "simple" I used Firefox and it's privacy settings were too tight. In Safari I succeeded to connect.

                  Tests succeeded, now I need to get the app approved which is very though at FB I experienced before.

                  Thanks for the great product!

                    @imc67 Awesome and happy to hear that.

                    PS: I know that feeling - a fellow FF user.
