If you pick a numeric only domain name with less than 10 digits, then it looks like you can keep that for $0.84/year with Name Cheap on a .xyz TLD (Top Level Domain).

@LoudLemur That is handy info. 10 digit limit is odd, would have worked well for international phone numbers otherwise.

I can't find that on their website, however here is all their $0.99 stuff.

@robi only for the first year. And doesn’t work for fairly short names, then it remains „premium“ at standard prices. Just tried with xxxx.link.

@robi It might not be advertised. Also, I think it isn't a sale, and the renewal price is the same, though I may be mistaken.
