passkey asks for passwords

For a few days now i noticed when i log into my website, and use my passkey for authentication, Bitwarden browser plugin asks to enter my master password. Which kind of defeats the reason to use a passkey.
Haven't found any way to turn this off - anybody else noticed this?

yeah, it asked me for the master password which is nearly half a book long
