When changing POP3 polling host from my.soletic.cloud to mail (the name on the local network?), I get :

    88643348-ab5b-490f-a4d2-aed9fd952fd9-image.jpeg

If I try mail.soletic.cloud (public address just in case?), I get:

    1537875e-702f-4a99-a9be-88cd6829e923-image.jpeg

I was just guessing, could easily be wrong. I guess @nebulon will have to be a little clearer/ more explicit about exactly what he's asking you to try 🙂

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

Ah great so you were able to at least connect using mail as the hostname. That is the correct way to configure an app on Cloudron. This is also why the environment variables expose that alongside the authentication details, which is now what is apparently wrong in your case. The username and password are the ones in CLOUDRON_MAIL_IMAP_USERNAME and CLOUDRON_MAIL_IMAP_PASSWORD . Can you double check that you used those in discourse?

@nebulon FINALLY! the mail arrived. So, Discourse was not correctly configured, as for the POP3 host and password. Good to know, I'll document that internally.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the time and thouroughness!

Glad it worked out in the end. It is probably not obvious also to use the credentials from the env variables which have IMAP in them....
