Hi!
I installed Gitea and changed the default username (root) and the password. The login with this credentials is working, but not with my Cloudron User. Has anybody the same experience?

Try a fresh install, dont change the root username. Login with your Cloudron user, logout and log back in as root. Promote your Cloudron user to admin.
Does this sequence work?
After your cloudron user is admin, you can delete the root user.
