      Hello,
I am very pleased with the Docker image. The only problem is that I cannot use port 443 in my environment.
Does anyone have any idea how I can enable the default port 8448?

      Best regards,
      Daniel

I don't really know your setup, but sometimes it is possible to "translate" the port at the router/firewall level such as in that example:

Can you clarify what you mean by unable to run on port 443? Cloudron doesn't support any port other than 443 for the dashboard and any of it's apps. How are you running Cloudron then?

The synapise app on Cloudron uses 443 for server to server communications and client to server communication.

            Thanks for your messages.

I have a Sophos XG firewall. It manages the domain xxxx.de.
I have the subdomain matrix.xxxx.de for Synapse. In the domain I have a srf-record for the subdomain, but when resolving, it tries to use the IP. But the access must be done via the name.

The port 8448 I could forward directly. An internal translation on port 443 is not possible (Perhaps incorrectly configured)

            Sorry for my bad english.

@danigl As you probably know, the port 8448 is only for server <-> server communication. What port are you using for server <-> client communication?

In Cloudron package, we use the same port for server <-> server and client <-> server communication (which is port 443).
