    Since Cloudron 6 is rolling out, which has the framework in place to support translating the dashboard and some transactional emails, we can enter the next phase for Cloudron i18n!

    We have put up some initial docs and of course our Weblate instance.

    Language wise we are only still in the beginning, having started with English and German (since that is what the Cloudron team knows).

    Now we need your help!

    If you are interested in helping out with translations in other languages, please head over to https://docs.cloudron.io/i18n/ make yourself familiar with the process we have outlined there and it would be awesome if we can welcome some more important languages than English and German 🙂

    Any feedback or questions around how it works is of course also welcome here.

    Warning to anyone interested : I just wasted about 30 strings.

    The "next" button does not save your suggested translation, and the buttons "save" and "suggest" are greyed out and not clicable. So it looks like I cannot contribute right now.

    @mehdi Ouch.

    @nebulon that sounds like something we should warn about somewhere as our "READ THIS FIRST" docs?

    @girish I just translated 39% of Dutch / Nederlands (pfffff square eyes now) without any disturbance, Weblate is pretty responsive and fast.

    @girish yes in the docs it says request access and so I did, don’t know the exact account settings though.

    @girish @nebulon so is there any plan to enable anonymous contributions? Because it appears that the doc says it should work for anonymous users, and it looks like right now it does not.

    @mehdi yes we now decided to simply not have anonymous contributions there, but for anyone interested, just send us a mail with the intended username and language to contribute to. I've also updated the docs accordingly.
