    Hey guys,

First, I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

My friend just told me that Emby grabbed a Christmas wallpaper from his phone's gallery and added it as a wallpaper in the app. He's using Emby in Chrome and not through the android app.

Turning off the seasonal theme disables the wallpaper.

How is Emby able to access the phone's gallery and know which "holiday" picture to grab?

Curious indeed, especially when not using the android app. Is there a possibility he has uploaded that picture maybe by accident into emby somehow?

@nebulon possible.. he's not tech savvy at all but I don't see a place where he can do that. Also, changing the theme in the backend is a premium feature which I don't have so I have no explanation as to how it's even doable.

Did you try to report this upstream? It kinda sounds like a regression or bug in the app itself, less about the Cloudron package of it.

@robi He is using Chrome on Android. I can confirm that in the Emby logs.

@nebulon I have not. I didn't think it's specific to the Cloudron package but this forum is my go-to forum nowadays. I'll post about it at the Emby forum later today. Thanks!

@humptydumpty I meant for you to try it with your account if you have an android device and see if it pulls in your wallpaper while you watch the logs.

@robi Ah, sorry. I have an old android 5.0 phone. I think I'll be introducing more bugs if I do lol.

@humptydumpty it should work the same way.

Other option is to use an android emulator like Nox or Bluestacks to match his version and test.
