I just noticed that when creating a new App Specific Password from my dashboard profile, Minio doesn't show up as an App option, is this for a reason? Does it need to be explicitly enabled? I think it makes sense to enable this for Minio - since it acts as a type of storage, it would be good to be able to create app specific passwords for different use cases of the app, instead of reusing the same credentials everywhere the Minio instance is used.

I think the app specific passwords are something that only works for applications that get their username/password directly from Cloudron. Minio however manages user access independently of Cloudron.

That however does not mean that you cannot have multiple sets of credentials: https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/4674/users-accesskey-secretkey-for-specific-buckets
