Would love to see these features in the surfer:

      • Pinned the folder to show on the top of the page
      • Total number of Folders in the surfer home directory
      • Able to categories the folder through custom name and filter the folder using category by

You probably want to use something like NodeBB for that instead.

@arshsahzad hm it is not quite clear to me how that use-case makes sense with surfer and it does seem like quite the corner-case 🙂

Generally surfer does not have any database to store meta-information and I will likely keep it that way to not bloat up the app.

Given that @robi brought up a forum for that, I wonder which app might be a better fit and how you are using surfer for this in the first place.

@nebulon Right Now, I'm using surfer for hosting my all static sites and as well as for redirection to the other pages (100+ redirection URL and at least 15+ static sites)(Surfer Page).

If there will be pinned option, then the static site folder can be pinned on the top surfer and it would be easy for the visitor to navigate to the static site through the pinned folder.

why not just make a static page that looks like the pinned folder page you want?

@robi This seems like an acceptable workaround. If you're already building a static site this should pretty straight forward.
