Share button not working with Lychee
-
https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/issues/1674
There appears to be a share button issue with the current and previous versions of Lychee.
I tried rolling back to v. v2.8.3 from two weeks ago, but it doesn't resolve the issue.
Is there anyway I can hotfix the frontend.js from my side, so my users can access the share links in our photos albums.
The file in public/dist/frontend.js is write protected (obviously, that's how cloudron works)
Lychee is usually pretty slow to push updates for UI breaking bugs like this. Last time I had to wait 2 months for the update to become available on cloudron.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you!

@imkidcable currently, we use the premade releases. Building from source will require us to change the packaging a bit.
Is there a way to convince upstream to make a patch release?
I think the other option is of course use the LAMP app and install lychee there.

@girish Thanks Girish.
I'll message them on github and see if they're able to push an update with the fix, otherwise I might just do as you said and start using a lamp instance so I can apply bug fixes when needed.
