Nextcloud Hub 4 (Version 26) is out

I'd prefer they would directly integrate full-text-search (currently only a plugin that requires a dedicated search server...) over all elements before integrating "AI"...
-
@necrevistonnezr I guess that's what Nextcloud AIO is: https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/8383/nextcloud-all-in-one-aio
Although, given Collabora CODE is an app to install, maybe they should be packaging ElasticSearch as a Nextcloud app too.

I can't express how much I despise certain "add-on", "plugin", or "app" systems, by now. Special functionalities may be outsourced to add-ons, but core functionality should be built-in (and thus maintained, accordingly). And for a "Hub", file search, contacts, calendar, mail, todo, etc. should be "core".

I agree, but I think I saw @girish mention that they are working on creating an Elasticsearch addon or something for Cloudron, so hopefully we'll at least soon be able to host our own full-text-search Nextcloud server stuff on Cloudron

For what it's worth the full-text search is almost useless due to ti being the same very cramped and limited search interface being the same, but just with a lot more results on searches.
IMHO they would do better to copy the GDrive interface or similar.

Does anyone know how to configure deepl for translation? I can find absolutely no documentaiton on these new features and how to enable them
-
@andreasdueren I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like an app you have to install. https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/integration_deepl

Yes that's what I finally figured out too lol. Nextcloud sometimes has terrible documentation
