Since 3.7, when authorship color is turned on, owned texts has by default the same color as the background and cannot be read if the author if you don't not manually change your color each time you open a pad.

It also shows "false" in the username wether you're logged in or not.

3.7.0 package updated etherpad to 1.9.0 . I could only find this issue - https://github.com/ether/etherpad-lite/issues/5563 . Maybe related, not sure.

It maybe not related to 3.7, it could be older but just notified it after the 3.7 update.
If the issue is closed, it could be a temporary fix, but we were using this functionality specifically during meeting with unknown people and really want to see this working back...

Is there a way maybe to export all our pads and try uninstall / install and import back our data to see if this works again ?

This should be fixed with the new package which is now openId auth based. The actual fix for this is was https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/etherpad-lite-app/-/commit/57ee19331ad73bab2439722722f08af3d30cacbf#33ccfcdc420d13cac7c95ef4edf0ab36e93f1ce5_202_201
