    When moving Cloudron install from an old server to a new server has anyone had issues with _acme-challenge record delaying the startup of apps?

    After 8 hours of waiting, I went into the logs of the stalled apps.

    It was showing an issue with _acme-challenge record of the base domain _acme-challenge.domain.com having an incorrect value. Luckily the logs showed what the value was meant to be, once I manually changed this where our DNS is set up and restarted the server the app started without issue.

    @mhgcic which DNS provider are you using? 8 hours seems unreasonably long.

    Trying to pick up from the other thread, you are saying this happens every time you reboot the server? Or is this issue unrelated to that?

    @girish Our DNS records are on our own cPanel Server, which is synced to a DNSOnly server.

    This is unrelated to the startup issues.

    @mhgcic So this is wildcard/manual DNS ? When using one of those, DNS challenge is not used. So, something is off. Can you check the cert type in Domains -> Edit -> Advanced. What is the cert provider there? It should not be wildcard.

    @girish

    Yes it's manual.

    @mhgcic OK, then there is something quite wrong. DNS challenge should not be used with Manual DNS. it should be using HTTP challenge. Maybe you can write to support@cloudron.io and we can debug this further.
