@nebulon Yeah, kind of why I was wanting a way to set the user password, rather than need a 3rd party email.
I guess the second email being a recovery email, kind of what google does with free gmail accounts. But Google workplace account creation works differently.
I'm not saying google have the best system, but they use different account creation for individuals and businesses.

@AartJansen It was pihole, I think. I tweaked settings, and flushed DNS, and waited, and the problems gone.

@Stardenver Well I had a customers server that he wanted the mail limit upped from 40Mb to 60Mb... and I thought I had done that, but couldn't send a big enough email to test.
I have no idea why they 'need' it, its usually some self-employed boss who doesn't know better, or can't be told.
I make the changes they ask for, and charge for my time.

@girish Yes sorry thats what I meant a AAAA record with a * (for wildcard) my current domain host wont allow me to create that.
My domain host is onlydomains.com

Its not really a big concern, happy to leave it disabled. But when I enable it, and it detects its address, which looks accurate to me... Then I can go to my domains DNS records and add the ipV6 address as a @ TXT record. However (and this may be a domain host issue) I cannot add a * as a wildcard TXT record.

How do existing cloudron users get user accounts in xbackbone?
I can create a new local user.
And once created I can see theres an LDAP user on/off
But none of my existing users show up, and I can't see any mention of where LDAP is preconfigured for the existing cloudron users
I think I'm misunderstanding something completely here, or missing the obvious.

@girish Ah right, you have to tell it that user permissions have a number of devices... I thought it worked differently.
