@girish thank you for the clarification. As a maintainer of apps, I had seen the changes but didn't fully understand all of them.

Regarding Multi-host, has there been any progress in this regard? I'm interested to know how it would all work. For instance: Can you still access each dashboard at its respective my.domain.com? Do we add the other servers to a dashboard/server of our choice or will it reside at a different subdomain by itself as an app (ex: dash.domain.com)? Users: How are they managed/displayed? Will there be one user directory for all servers and any changes are synced in case a server goes offline/wiped? Will we need to reinstall apps that rely on the Cloudron user directory if directories are merged/shared? I know it's still a long way to CR 9.0, but it's something that I've been thinking about now that I have more than one server. Thanks!

The latest package has the default admin login information now as well as a checklist item to change the admin password. Note that this is only visible for new installations of the app!

Update: This is really a huge improvement, I manually updated the last Cloudron to 8.0.3 and then 8.0.4. Reconfigured backups to Storagebox/rsync/sshfs. Diskusage is 260GB of which Nextcloud is 175GB and email 27GB altogether 25 apps: Previous cifs/tgz backup took approximately 3 hours First backup with sshfs/rsync took 1 hour and 40 minutes! Second backup right after the first took 4 MINUTES!! It’s a miracle and hard to believe it’s true after years of waiting for faster backups.

Yes Documenso requires Cloudron 8, which is being slowly rolled out, it is safe to update to by now.

@girish said in Upcoming apps: For the coming weeks, we are going to focus on getting some new apps packaged. The list is: OnlyOffice Bitwarden - @Felix and @iamthefij have done much of the heavy lifting, we just have to get it across the line. OpenVPN - We will add an admin interface that let's the admins configure some popular vpn settings. BigBlueButton or Jitsi (we will evaluate which works well for conferencing. We have used both and they both work well but BBB might win). If you have any thoughts here, please leave a comment. Development apps - basically provide a git push workflow for hosting custom nodejs/php apps (and make it work so that they can be mixed with various caches and databases). If we should prioritize something else, please let us know! But the above should keep us occupied this month. I was just reading this thread and saw this post. Look at all those good things, all accomplished and completed long ago. Well done on work accomplished!

@timka said in MiroTalk SFU and P2P are available: A wrapper app regarding user management and a bit of access securement would be nice option. Perhaps you installed before OIDC was added to the app/package, but it's been integrated with Cloudron user management for a while now [image: 1717017725173-f02502b2-3d90-43c7-a95d-2edf7e8d3c83-image.png]

@potemkin_ai Indeed, Jitsi itself, running alone, in its own comfy space, installed per the Jitsi guide does run smooth as silk (albeit with some occasional drops). It is when you get into other implementations that are not Debian/Ubuntu that it seems to have issues. I've tried the OpenSUSE and Docker deployments and eventually always encounter an issue with colibri/websockets. As for Element Call, they seem really focused on their new Element Starter Suite and Element Server Suite which is a lot like Element Matrix Services (EMS) but self hosted. Element Call is part of some deployments and really sparkles there. What is really exciting is that the Integrations options have really revved up. I am testing both suites now and can say this is the most complete Element has felt when self hosting and I am not just saying that because you can default your deployment to use Hydrogen instead if you want to cut some bloat. Ha-ha! Element Server Suite can integrate with everything and the kitchen sink and is apparently the only one who Element Call wants to be friends with.
