This was sorted out in support.

@necrevistonnezr Yes, that should be enough. You can verify if this is the case by trying out host www.cloudron.io <public-ip-of-your-cloudron-server>. It should timeout. As for IPv6, from a quick look at the code, it looks like we only bind port 53 to the server's IPv4 addresses. Let me check and get back tomorrow.

@mastadamus yes, there is some bug here. This is the same bug that prevents apps from uninstalling at times. some race condition somewhere...

@staypath Yes, this is possible. I just added this recently with package v1.8.0 (so a month or so ago). There is a file called /app/data/dnsmasq.conf where you can add custom dnsmasq configuration. @doodlemania2 Thanks to rclone I uploaded all 222GB to my Google Drive in less then a couple hours. (didn't time it, but expected it to be much longer.) VPS is on a 200mbit line last time I checked, so could be under an hour. If only we had network graph stats.

There's a few ways to do this. use the DNS changer apps (usually for adblocking), free on FDroid. DNS99 might be the name of one. xip.io - 10.0.0.1.xip.io resolves to 10.0.0.1

@atrilahiji Indeed, you have to whitelist your friend's IP and not router IP.
