    Hello,

After the Cloudron installation of Metabase, I did change the login and password, but now, I am unable to connect to Metabase with the main admin account (I don't want to do a fresh new installation as I did my first dashboard that took me some time).

I did the password change from Settings > Account settings > but I can type any "Current password" and it always tells me "Success", but I cannot log in with the new password. Same issue when trying a reset from Admin settings > People > Reset password. I receive the e-mail to reset the password, but then when trying to connect I got an error, "Password: did not match stored password".

I also created another admin account and all is working fine from this a second admin account. I can reset the password many times and login / logout without any problems, but this does not work with the main admin account.

I'm still logged into Metabase with the first admin account (thanks to my cookie I think), but when trying to connect from another browser I got an error, "Password: did not match stored password".

Thanks for your help, and sorry for my poor English.

Hard to say what is going on. I tested on a new install and it seems to work as expected. Maybe something to report upstream? Alternately, just delete the old admin account?

@joseph Hello, from the dashboard Admin settings > People > I can only deactivate the user, not "delete" the user.
Next to the user, when clicking on the tree dot, we only have 3 options :

        • Edit user
        • Reset password
        • Deactivate user

But I need to use this user e-mail.

        Thanks.

@tonyfr I can reproduce this . This is an upstream limitation , so you have to report it at https://github.com/metabase/metabase/

But I need to use this user e-mail.

what do you mean by this?
