    At time of renewal of my white label license, I got the following error when I was entering the license key I just bought.

    Self hosted instance of Invoice Ninja Version v5.8.31-W171.

    Under Settings/Account Management/Apply License, I entered my license key "v5_xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xx" in the pop-up, clicked on "Submit".

    After 3s of "Loading", I got the Error Pop-up saying : "500: Internal Server Error • Server Error"

    The licence has not been applied and I still have the Invoice Ninja logo on my invoices.

    Apart from this issue, the system is working perfectly fine and I'm happy with it.

    Do you have any hints on where this issue comes from ?

    I searched the forum but could not find a similar post.

    Thank you very much for your help.

      Have you seen any server side error in the app logs?

        Since it's your first post here, just to double check: are you hosting invoiceninja on Cloudron ?

          I think I ran into this when I first tried with the desktop app. Use the web version instead.

            @joseph
            Dear Joseph,
            I'm self hosting the app on a Swiss Web Hosting called Infomaniak. I ihope this is not a problem.

              @humptydumpty
              Thank you for the advice. I tried to use the web version with the same issue but using the Android app worked.

              This tip solved my issue.

              Many thanks for your help.

                @nebulon
                I'm not sure on how to access the error logs. However, I was able to buypass the issue by using the Android app. Thanks to @humptydumpty for his guidance.

                  Thank you all for your help. It was really helpful.
                  This error is plateform based and appear on the desktop app, the web version but not on the Android app.
                  For me this issue is solved.
