I mean, it's a pretty nice feature that I can search across all mailboxes.

But that isn't what I normally want to do (I just want to quickly search the mailbox I'm in).

In some way this is related to the fact I normally don't even want to see all mailboxes either.

Overall very cool how switfly this app is improving though - go @nebulon ! 👏

(please give me a no split screen option soon though, pretty please 🙏)

I like the current setting - not having to remember in which folder I’m in or having to go to a relevant folder first to start a comprehensive search…

Oh, I 💯 completely and utterly agree when it comes to searching across ALL folders within a single mailbox.

But in the latest version of Mail by default it searches across all folders of ALL mailboxes you have access to. In my case, that's A LOT of different mailboxes (dozens of them).

And, actually: it isn't doing what either of us want either @necrevistonnezr

It seems that when searching, by default it just searches the inboxes (and subfolders of the inbox) of all mailboxes, not sent folders etc too.

And even when you select a specific mailbox, it does the same. To get the search results to show things in sent you have to use in:sent

...wait perhaps that isn't true and it just hasn't finished indexing everything 🤔

I'm really not sure. It certainly looks like it is searching through everything but then the search results it displays are only inbox results (at least in my tests so far).

I think it was perhaps just an indexing thing, as now it is showing me the results I would expect.

I'd still like it to only search the inbox I'm actually in rather than the dozens I've got access to (unless I explicitly ask it to do that).
