ampache - Web based audio/video streaming application

I've been using 3.9.0 for quite some time and just pushed an update to the latest version (https://git.cloudron.io/msbt/ampache-app - not the laravel one). I also added sftp support via proftpd so cloudron users can add their music (heavily borrowed from https://git.cloudron.io/synchrone/airsonic-app - thanks @synchrone).

Needs a bit more testing (I think it doesn't work anymore if no port is set, but other than that, should be good to go), let me know if you find any bugs.

Sorry for my ignorance, I imagine you need to install the CLI tool to test apps from the git repo, is there anywhere where that process is described step by step as I'm a little cautious of breaking things if I enter the wrong command while trying to install this (coudn't find on forum nor on the doc page).

Ampache supports subsonic but it may not work with LDAP - https://github.com/ampache/ampache/issues/2376

I'm not using that anymore, but if I remember correctly, LDAP worked after you logged in once with the account and then tried subsonic

Ha nice! Glad the work wasn't for nothing, I believe that was one of the earlier attempts to pack an app

@msbt I am continuing the package at https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/ampache-app . It was missing the license file, so I the added MIT license like other packages, hope that's OK.

This is mostly working now but there seems to be a bug in the user creation code upstream. I have opened https://github.com/ampache/ampache/issues/2605

@msbt The upstream author is quicker He fixed the problem already. Looks like it's all working now, will publish shortly.
