Hi, does anyone have a problem with a long backup on a Hetzner Storage Box?
It takes me 10 hours to backup 70 GB of data. Does anyone know of a better alternative please?
I have an unused Synology NAS at home, so I was thinking of sending backups to the NAS.
    Thanks for the views.

@archos which storage format are you using, tarball or rsync?

I find the latter is slower. Also, if you have large sized files, that also seems to kill the transfer speed.

@archos Are you able to test just uploading say 10GB sample file using some native tools to hetzner from your network? That will give an idea of the network speed and upload speed limits of hetzner's service.

@girish Thank you for your reply. I changed the location of the box. Instead of Finland location, I ordered a new storage box with Germany location. And now everything ok.

@humptydumpty Yes I also tried Synology and it is bad. The speed is even worse. I use Rsync. I ordered a new storage box with location in Germany and everything ok.
