protected topic mandatory?

After installing the app store package, it seems that you can only subscribe to protected topics.
subscribe to a topic- fill in topic name
- takes to 2nd screen which requires user and password
Is this just me ?
I didn't have this behaviour on custom package.
Seems no way to turn it off. -

after subscribing to first topic and making it protected (because I had to), the second topic can be subscribed to as unprotected.

@timconsidine i think that's because it remembers the password for the second time.
All topics are protected by default. This is a deviation from the ntfy default since we don't want unprotected instance. See https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/ntfy/#access-control . auth-default-access has to be changed .
