Are there any benefits when using Joplin Server instead of NextCloud as Storage? I read the Documentation, but I didn't really see if it is worth to host a Joplin Server instance in addition to NextCloud, when Joplin is configured to use the NextCloud Webdav interface. Any experiences here?

Disclaimer: I have used Joplin in the past, but meanwhile stopped using it in favour of Anytype.

From my understanding the main benefit of using the Joplin server is that it’s faster and more efficient when syncing notes compared to other syncing mechanisms.

It may depend on the sync abilities of webdav vs Joplin backend server for multiple editors on the same document and dealing with conflicts (there are Joplin plugins for this).

A lighter alternative might be Surfer since it also does webdav.
