ERROR : "You are seeing this page because the DNS record of 74.48.163.80 is set to this server's IP but Cloudron has no app configured for this domain"

@poisonbrain I guess you navigated by IP in your browser ? Once you have installed and setup Cloudron, you cannot access by IP address and only by domain name.
The error message is... cryptic Generally, people set a wildcard DNS entry . Like
*.domain.com
points to the server's IP. Then, when someone navigates torandom.domain.com
, then they see this page and it will sayYou are seeing this page because the DNS record of random.domain.com is set to this server's IP but Cloudron has no app configured for this domain
.The above page is "reused" for when a user navigates by IP address and
random.domain.com
gets replaced with the IP address. Not ideal... -

Man thank you very much for your assistance!
I now get a different error when navigating from a domain
my domain for cloudron is this https://my.poisonbrainbeats.com/
and it reads the common error:"This site can’t be reached my.poisonbrainbeats.com’s server IP address could not be found.
Try:Checking the connection
Checking the proxy, firewall, and DNS configuration
Running Windows Network Diagnostics " -
-
probably it's that yeah
still haven't found a way to solve this -
-
I still get the same error . Could it be because I upgraded my packages through an SSH console and now cloudron doesn't work good ?
and In any case do you possibly know a way out ?
any help would be deeply appreciated!Basically I f I don't solve this I can't set an unsubscribe link to my email campaigns
-
@poisonbrain the second error is not from Cloudron. It's some DNS issue. Your domain is still not found...
$ host my.poisonbrainbeats.com Host my.poisonbrainbeats.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

does my.poisonbrainbeats.com needs to point to my IP adress to solve this ?
like create a new DNS Record Type A for that ?
or another DNS Record ? -
There it is !
it worked! Created a Type A DNS record for my.poisonbrainbeats.com needs to point to my IP address [IPV4]
DId the same for a Type AAAA DNS record for my.poisonbrainbeats.com that points to my IPV6 address. -
