Adding proxyAuth or any password to lock some app (without any user management built-in) from public

Hi,
I need a way to secure some apps like SearXNG and invidious, for example. More generally, I am looking to secure any app installed with Cloudron that doesn't offer a password. Implementing proxyAuth, nginx, or editing .htaccess to add a password would be a game changer to prevent abuse from the internet on our servers.
