Hi, since some weeks, my paperless stop checked mails.
The mail log show the last check was 10 august (and yes, automatic refresh is on).

[2024-08-10 05:40:00,225] [DEBUG] [paperless_mail] Processing mail account exArmoire
[2024-08-10 05:40:00,285] [DEBUG] [paperless_mail] GMAIL Label Support: False
    [2024-08-10 05:40:00,285] [DEBUG] [paperless_mail] AUTH=PLAIN Support: True
    [2024-08-10 05:40:00,979] [DEBUG] [paperless_mail] Account exArmoire: Processing 1 rule(s)
    [2024-08-10 05:40:00,984] [DEBUG] [paperless_mail] Rule exArmoire.All: Selecting folder INBOX
[2024-08-10 05:40:00,985] [DEBUG] [paperless_mail] Rule exArmoire. All: Searching folder with criteria (SINCE 26-Jul-2024 UNSEEN)
    [2024-08-10 05:40:00,987] [DEBUG] [paperless_mail] Rule exArmoire.All: Processed 0 matching mail(s)

    No error message in paperless.log

On a fresh install, mails works great. But not on my old paperless.

    Thanks

@tempinou said in Paperless-ngx stopped fetching mails:

[2024-08-10 05:40:00,985] [DEBUG] [paperless_mail] Rule exArmoire. All: Searching folder with criteria (SINCE 26-Jul-2024 UNSEEN)

It seems to process mails. Just that there is nothing matching . Per above it uses UNSEEN (meaning unread). If someone or something is reading the mails in the INBOX, it won't get processed.

@joseph Check the dates, no processing since 10 august.
On a fresh install, the process is working and catch emails.

The fetcher is maybe stopped. How to relaunch ?

@tempinou does the fetcher start to work if you restart the app itself from the Cloudron dashboard?

I reread the thread here and indeed it seems the mailbox is opened fine but then the search criteria does not return any results, so paperless thinks nothing is there. Do you know where this criteria might come from? SINCE 26-Jul-2024 UNSEEN is that date somehow related to something you have set?
