User management - remove /changing password user

Hello folks,

I run Hedgedoc for a small team and one of them is leaving. I don't want to lose all the documents they created during his time in the team. What would be the best way to remove access to their account but not lose the documents they have created?

I asked on the HedgeDoc matrix and they recommend to change the password to the user. It's not the most elegant way, but I guess it may work?

Any advise appreciated.

@chetbaker can't you just disable the user in Cloudron - https://docs.cloudron.io/user-management/#disable-user ?
