Title: Jelu on Cloudron - track what you have read, what you are reading and what you want to read.
    Main Page: https://bayang.github.io/jelu-web/
    Git: https://github.com/bayang/jelu
    Licence: MIT License
    Docker: Yes
    Demo:
Summary: Jelu is a self-hosted book tracking application designed as a personal alternative to Goodreads, allowing users to manage their reading history, current reads, and future reading lists. It emphasizes data control and longevity, eliminating concerns about service shutdowns or data loss during migrations. Key features include book import/export capabilities, automatic metadata retrieval, a tagging system for custom shelves, author pages, reading statistics, and multi-user support. With an API for integration with other tools and the ability to embed book tracking on external sites, Jelu offers a robust solution for book enthusiasts seeking full control over their reading data.

Notes: Since Amazon froze development of goodreads, various alternatives to Goodreads have emerged, but many of these platforms operate independently and don't interact with one another. Additionally, most of them struggle to establish and maintain a viable business model. I prefer to self-host my data so I can avoid the risk of losing everything if a platform shuts down or elects to change their business model.
