hi.
i have, once again, made a post about cloudron, this time, about user configuration.
i also recommend @girish and cloudron staff read this, as i have some suggestions at the end of the post.https://adison.blindsoft.net/understanding-users-in-cloudron/

Thanks for the posts! I was just telling my friend the other day it's quite a miracle that you use Cloudron as a blind person! Unfortunately from our side, we have paid no attention to testing our UI for this use case.
unfortunately, some buttons you will find are unlabled
I assume you mean all those small icon buttons without text. We should be able to fix these easily . I guess we have to add
aria-label
here , is it? -

i posted a comment letting people know that they could in deed read emails if they had administrator access and can impersonate your account. if you guys wonna check that out, that would be cool. i had to travle 4hours in time and become future adison just to make the clarification. i almost got eaten in the process because my time travler didn't go fast enough (these are all jokes of course)

Hi @adison Great post, and website, it's very easy to navigate!
It looks like the default Twenty-Twentythree theme? I hear that the latest versions of WordPress have been focused on accessibility improvements?
If you did ever look at different themes, I've been very happy with KadenceWP.
I'm also making all my sites use a default 22px font, since so many have lesser vision now, and screentime is strenuous for all, so hopefully that helps.
I found it fascinating to find this video from Kirsty Viers on using her iPhone with the audio interface:
I'd be more than happy to help if you have any needs with WordPress or other difficulties you could use some experience and eyes on. Just direct message me here any time, or find other contact details on my website.
Equally, keen to learn more of your needs, so if you have any feedback on my website accessibility, I'd be happy to improve it, and add a link to yours in credit.
I don't know if you have considered consulting services for accessibility, but I imagine that could be valuable to apps and organisations to improve for all.

@marcusquinn that is really cool.
it also seams you have exp in the data/cybersecurity field.
also, your website is pretty accessible to me.
might have to pm you if i ever need to edit the site itself as site editing with chromevox is not a very easy task. reload a billion times, and it even fusses at empty blocks. -
@adison Absolutely, more than welcome. Also, happy to help with second-opinions if every you feel any advice you get isn't considering your needs.
I've been using the RankMath plugin for SEO, and that has a feature to add alt tags to images using the image file name or post title, and another Meow App Media File Renamer.
As much as time permits, I try to manually write the alt tags to be descriptive, but it's often a forgotten step in being considerate to screen readers.
Am I right in saying that Alt tags and link Label text are the things that help you the most in navigating apps and content?
I enjoy researching software tools, so if ever you are stuck for a solution to something, I'd be happy to research.

@adison If I may also suggest, it is worth adding some text about yourself in your Cloudron forum Profile, and a link to your website in your Signature on this link below, to help people learn more about your work:

@marcusquinn i added it on my profile.

you would be right.

You mean links here in the forum? or?
The forum supports Markdown.
If you mean the forum, you make links like this:
[link text](link url)
So, for example:
[my linkstack](https://ud.coop/jdaviescoates)
Becomes:
BTW, the same think works in signatures too (and the correct spelling is "folks" )

@adison Ahahah - great signature! If you just use normal https:// links, they just auto-convert to clickable. I made my signature before the character limit was reduced, so can't change it now without losing characters to play with, but my personal website link is my most recent site, that's using the KadenceWP theme.
