    Hi,

I'm a well experienced cloudron user. Just installed File Pizza. It installed fine, opens fine, login works fine, but... When i choose a file to send, and paste the link on another PC (Firefox or Chrome), it doesn't do anything. The link works fine, it also shows the name of the file on both ends, but it doesn't begin to download.

Everthing is up to date. No external firewall, only a VPS with cloudron on it. Every other app works fine.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

It does work, however it sometimes takes a while for webtorrent to figure out how to connect to the other peers, esp if both are behind NAT.

      Otherwise use Jirefau or Pairdrop.

It does look like filepizza hasn't been developed in a while as well . Last commit was 4 years ago - https://github.com/kern/filepizza/commits/master/ . Maybe we should delist it.

@girish If it's broken, I'd agree with you, however it still works for many including me.

            Time to package Pairdrop?

@robi I saw a video recently on "the universe of wormholes" recently, something like that.

Oh nice find, easy portable p2p xfer binaries. Too bad it doesn't work in CLI.

Just ran the windows binary and it's slick, finds an update (odd bug since it's the latest from GH) and updates itself (no version change), and nicely cleans up the previous .exe

Now I just need a file to receive! 😏

I think one of the others in that video is CLI. For pure CLI there is the vanilla wormhole: https://github.com/magic-wormhole/magic-wormhole.rs

though this might be the one he said isn't really wormhole.

Ah! no, i remember now. I think it was croc!
