Dropped characters while typing (app specific query)

Anyone every run into frustration with dropped characters while typing in Outline?
Perhaps it's because I have become used to Obsidian, which is locally based, but I also don't think I experience dropped character issues while typing in GoogleDocs and I am wondering if anyone else experiences this? My aim is to have a web editor that just feels the same as my local editor (Obsidian)
Further pondering this it could be a few things:

Outline Code: Something that is just not that fast about Outline, despite claims, or something with ProseMirror WYSIWYG

Server power: Nothing wrong with Outline but I am only on a small, 2GB ram 1vCPU Digital Ocean droplet and need something more powerful to mirror my experiences on Obsidian

Server config: This would be related to Cloudron's deployment of it OR maybe even the fact that I am running it through Cloudflare's proxy
