Nextcloud not restoring from Backup

I eventually broked my nextcloud yesterday by mounting another drive. When it got into an error state, i tried to restore the app from a backup. but that also fails. i even tried to create a clone from a backup, but that one also fails to install.

Since most of us lack clairvoyant capabilities, it's a little hard to guesstimate what the problem could be without any error messages, logs, etc.

got no logs for ya, theyre all empty

when i try to restore from a backup, it just says "Restoring - Downloading image" and then comes to a error state.
tried to uninstall the clone from backup - resulting in now my whole cloudron is crashing

i just rebootet. the logs on nextcloud were still empty. trying to restore from a backup now runs, and shows the log being flooded with entries about download. i can not share the log though, because there a all filenames in plaintext. But it looks like this:

Ok i got to move on here. I uninstall the whole damn thing and start from fresh. always keep you data offline first somewhere
