Why "rolling release" instead of stable?
-
Hi team
It looks to me that cloudron packaged AzuraCast is the rolling release instead of stable. (I see it in the /admin/updates/ section.
Why not use the stable instead? There seems to be many bugs in the rolling release version that make it almost impossible to run a working radio station.
Any thoughts?

We use a pinned version - https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/azuracast-app/-/blob/main/Dockerfile?ref_type=heads#L18. The app is still in unstable though with many issues to be fixed in the package still.
@joseph Thanks for your answer.

Yes, indeed.
Are they any plans to get the package fixed up? I get errors with nearly everything I try to do, but I'd really love to have this as a stable actually working app!

@jdaviescoates given the unstable state of upstream, maybe you can raise issues in their issues tracker on github to iron out those.

@nebulon ah, thanks, I hadn't realised the seemingly unstable state of upstream. But, yeah, it seems a least some of the many issues we have with the Cloudron package aren't only with the Cloudron package.
