Cannot install Cloudron using Gandi API
-
I added my API key but got this
tokenType is required
error. But unlike the form shown here https://docs.cloudron.io/domains/#gandi-livedns there is no Token Type field when setting up:
@staff please fix this ASAP - thanks! I guess the quickest thing for me to do might be to install an older version of Cloudron that doesn't ask for the token type?
-
For now I just went ahead and manually created a Wildcard set-up so no rush at my end for now but I guess this should still be fixed
Edit: although, that didn't seem to work until I'd added both A and AAAA records (which I'm not sure it told me to do on the set-up page - so perhaps that text needs updating too?)

@jdaviescoates most likely to do with the caching issue in 8.2. If you refresh the page, I think you will see a select box where you can provide the token type. It should look like this:
@girish it was specifically during a Cloudron install (on a brand new server and URL so not caching I don't think).
Yes adding domains is fine.
-
@jdaviescoates ah right, I somehow missed that. Fixed in https://git.cloudron.io/platform/box/-/commit/a7f083dbd14e1460e252d414e29300e252d33eb5

Hello @girish !
On Cloudron v8.2.4 and an existing installation, I can select the Personal Access Token (PAT) but it does not refresh the box below (see screenshot). So I cannot provide a newly generated PAT.
Tried on latest version of Firefox and Chromium.
I haven't found a workaround.
I get that error when I provide a correctly scoped PAT:
Configuration error: Gandi DNS error [500] The server has either erred or is incapable of performing the requested operation.
Any help is appreciated (I assume a bug fix might is required).

Can't you just enter it into that Gandi API Key field? Have you tried that?

Yes, I have. It is when I do so that I get the error:
Configuration error: Gandi DNS error [500] The server has either erred or is incapable of performing the requested operation.

@keldorn this error is coming from Gandi and not from Cloudron. I checked with a fresh Gandi Key and it works for me.
Per https://github.com/dpage/gandi-ddns , "Note that if the API key is incorrect or other errors occur, you will see output similar to:" the message you gave . Also see, https://github.com/go-acme/lego/issues/2041
Did you generate a PAT fresh?

@joseph that was indeed correct. I just generated another token, and it is now working correctly.
There was an issue with the Gandi dashboard yesterday. Did not take the time to properly troubleshoot it. Looks like it indeed was a problem on the Gandi side of things.
Thanks for your help.
