I'm looking to check and customize mail notification strings from https://git.cloudron.io/platform/box/-/blob/649c06b6419386e6ca808a097d6b461020fc1ead/src/mail_templates/new_login_location-text.ejs file - I can see you are using weblate, but can't find a way to see it... how do I do that?

Currently, they aren't customizable . From the dev team - the email templates were just added some releases ago, and we will wait for a few releases so they are standarized and translatable

@joseph got it, thanks. Would it be possible to remove 'Cloudron' from the mails templates in all languages then, as a part of white-label-ization in progress, please?

Ok, let me rephrase my wish: could you please, make e-mails respect Cloudron name, as stated in the docs: https://docs.cloudron.io/branding/#cloudron-name?

I can see currently in the e-mails direct mention of 'Cloudron', which I would rather not have, to avoid any possible confusion, on top of anything else.

@potemkin_ai for the moment, you can edit that file and remove that line , until we get around to templating it. this line has been there forever, so it's not immediate priority to change this for next release.

@girish understand on not a priority - makes perfect sense.
Where do I remove that from? Where are localized strings stored in deployed Cloudron instance?

@potemkin_ai that line is not translated . you can just remove the line from /home/yellowtent/box/src/mail_templates/*.ejs files . no need to restart the box code also .

@girish , I'm not referring to 'Powered by Cloudron' line - I was referring to 'Cloudron' direct mention in the title of the mail, for example - and I can't see it's being anywhere in the template - that's why I asked for localization.

you can just remove the line from /home/yellowtent/box/src/mail_templates/*.ejs files

Guess they will be overwritten on every update, wouldn't they?

@potemkin_ai /home/yellowtent/box/dashboard/dist/translation/<lang>.json has those . you can search for newLoginEmail key and there are subkeys providing translations .

yes, they will get overwritten on update. best to save a copy of the file to merge it later .

@girish Ok. And could you please, answer on my initial question, regarding the actual lines that are replaced inside the template?

Like I've told, I'm not referring to 'Powered by Cloudron' - I'm referring to the lines you have in Weblate.

@potemkin_ai not 100% sure what the exact question is. The translations in weblate contains Cloudron in it. The json files are downloaded directly from weblate. The email is generated by search/replace of the keys in the ejs file with the translations in the json .

@girish my bad, you covered it all, it's just me who just got what you meant - apologies and thanks for keeping explaining.

Could you please convert that thread into a request to remove 'Cloudron' from the mail templates as well as from translation files, please?
