Loading any contact via label interface is crashing:
    https://contact.cloudron-demo.com/addressbooks/label/contacts/a062f6a7-c326-4cfd-b927-b086afe18aa3

I also had some strange behavior migrating (~100 contacts) from Radicale (+DavX5 android):
Some label were correct on contact web interface while some other label where partially duplicated on the android part.

    Example:
Label "Friends" with 23 contacts before migrations has 22 contacts labeled "Friends" and 1 contacts labeled "Friends" (separately) on android contact app (not in the web).
    Sometimes even 3 duplicates (21 + 1 + 1).

The fact letting think there are some bug is here is that if i fix the contact label on android and change from label "Friends" (duplicated) to "Friends" (label with all other "Friends" contacts) the label is correctly handled after that.

I had 3-4 contacts with same issue. Fields i commonly used is: First name, Last name, Enterprise, Phone, email, Birthdate and label. Don't think is linked but more any information on a bug can help 😉

I was able to reproduce the loading a contact by label issue. Will fix today.
The other duplicate label issue I was not able to reproduce yet. Could it be that one of the labels has some whitespace or some other character looking similar?

After revisiting this and looking at the vCard RFC we will likely actually remove the labels feature as it was mostly copied from Google contacts, however what was not taken into account is, that in Google labels are the addressbooks and vCard has no label or tag feature in the first place.

This leaves the question what kind of vcard field in your case was synced as labels via davx? Is it maybe possible to that you can share one of those vcards here (replacing sensitive data)?

So to update here, the labels feature is removed (pending an app package release) as it was implementing an RFC which is obsoleted by now. This wasn't realized when adding it back then. So once the new app is out, maybe you could retest the import as the labels feature may have caused side effects with davx implemeneting the current vcard RFC correctly.

No it cannot be some spaces, because the original data come from my phone contact app and it's the same label, synchronized by davx5 on radicale. It can still be some bug at the radicale export.

"This leaves the question what kind of vcard field in your case was synced as labels via davx? Is it maybe possible to that you can share one of those vcards here (replacing sensitive data)?"

I can share to you one of the vcard if you still want to work on this later...but as i heavily use the label feature if it's removed i'll go back with radicale. The great web interface with label handled was the reason of my move.

DavX5 ask for the configuration for contact group / contact label, with "groups are per-contact categories" (no separate vCard per group), the android label was working on my contact app and on android.
MacOs contacts use the other way for example.

The latest release has the label feature removed, but I think given that it was doing some by now obsolete RFC implementation of label ( https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc2426 ) it was not worth keeping as such, however if we can find out what kind of "label" you are expecting from the actual vCard spec ( https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc6350 ) then we are more than happy to add to solve that use-case. I suspect we just have a clash of the term "label" here. So would be great if you could then share such an example vCard ( or ideally a few ) which have those labels.
