    H folks,

We have a problem where we restored two WP managed apps from a backup to a fresh domain WP managed site due to wp2shell. We found, we had to restore from before the compromise to fresh sites to avoid lingering compromise in the wp code.

    • Original site foo.bar
    • Restored site new.foo.bar
    • Move foo.bar to old.foo.bar
    • Move new.foo.bar to foo.bar

Now they won't update in the Cloudron GUI, either automatically or by hitting the "Check for updates" button.

We are stuck on WordPress (Managed) 7.0 org.wordpress.cloudronapp@4.0.0

Any ideas? The only thing I can think to do is to restore using wp plug-ins to a new site which is already updated.

This is all I can find on the forum:

      Hello @stirchley.coop
Apologies that you are experiencing this issue.
This happened because we did release a @wordpress-managed with version 4.0.0 which was the wrong version number.

To resolve this issue you need to run a command with the cloudron cli

      cloudron update -app $YOUR_LOCATION_OR_APPID --appstore-id org.wordpress.cloudronapp@3.17.0 --force

After that is finished, your app will get updated again.
