This topic was forked from Calendar 1.14.1: invitations to external attendees are not sent for events created/edited via CalDAV (DAVx5, Android), but work from the web UI nebulon

    Thanks for the quick reply!

One more related thing I ran into while testing: the sharing dialog lists every user with access to the app (regardless of groups) and also all Cloudron groups. Two users who share no group still see each other (in Calendar display name + username, in Contacts username only), and a user in no group sees an existing group. On a multi-tenant hosting setup this exposes who else has an account. Can the visibility be limited (e.g. same group only, or exact e-mail search only)? Happy to open a separate topic if you prefer.

So yes I have tried to reproduce this and the situation is indeed a bit confusing. So generally the app uses SCIM to fetch users and groups from the platform. The users are filtered by the ones who have access to the app. However groups are all listed. This seems to be a bug to fix.

Otherwise it should be noted that the app does not rebuild its users and groups live, so changing access controls in Cloudron does not immediately reflect this in the app. The app does a resync of the users on startup (so a restart fixes it immediately) or it also does this on a schedule.

This should be fixed in the latest version now. Still if ACLs change on cloudron side, it either takes some time to be reflected in the app or just restart the app via the cloudron dashbaord to make them change immediately
