In Invoice Ninja v5 Dashboard the area is now for a new version. Of course when we click UPDATE it says app.php is locked.

But in the Cloudron dashboard the tile does not offer a new version.

Is the built in upgrade usually disabled in a Cloudron instance?

@telos-one good point, I guess we have to see how to disable the internal updater. On Cloudron apps can't update itself, since they are run on a read-only filesystem. Once there are upstream app releases, we will prepare a new package and run it through our end-to-end tests to tests things like datamigration and so. If those are fine then we will push the app update and your Cloudron will get it and update automatically, unless otherwise configured in the Cloudron dashboard.

In this particular case, I am updating the package as we speak and the tests are running.

The new app package is out. I will leave this topic as unsolved since we still need to figure out how to disable the update notification from within the app.
