IPv6 support on cloudron.io
-
As a prelude to IPv6 support on Cloudron itself, we have added IPv6 support to the Appstore now. https://cloudron.io should now work over IPv6. If anyone hits any connectivity issue, please let us know here.

I was just checking out how realistic it is to have IPv6 only servers. It seems some of the DNS API endpoints like dns.api.gandi.net , api.godaddy.com , api.name.com , api.namecheap.com are IPv4 only. So, Cloudron servers will need IPv4 atleast for a while atleast.

@girish Even if servers have outbound IPv4, they could have inbound IPv6 only (through something like a NAT64)
@mehdi indeed. That is the case on many residential ISPs at least in Germany. The only working solution here is to request a real ipv4 from the ISP, which usually is possible, but likely will cost extra in the foreseeable future.
