    Renaming and removing apps for the domain registered in GoDaddy started to fail recently.

    Could you please, check and fix this? 🙂

      @potemkin_ai This is already fixed in 7.2. Please see https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/7094/godaddy-domain-api-error-422 . Just update via Settings -> Check For Updates.

      To counter some of the comments about GoDaddy 🙂 ... Atleast, in this case, GoDaddy has actually improved the API. They did not have a way to delete records previously, now they do.

        @potemkin_ai might be good time to move away from GoDaddy who are a really horrible company!

        I recommend Gandi because of their No Bullshit philosophy and fantastic service 🙂 (without arbitrarily limiting features and constantly trying to upsell crap like GoDaddy etc do)

        I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

          @jdaviescoates I agree about GoDaddy !
          I had a bunch of domains with them, got fed up and moved to (the then new) Uniregistry.
          Shocked that then GoDaddy bought Uniregistry !
          Noticeable change in a couple of moths after purchase.

          I moved most domains to Dynadot - no experience of Gandi - but happy with Dynadot if @potemkin_ai wants a choice.

          Indie app dev, scratching my itches, lover of Cloudron PaaS

              @girish thank you! I tried to, the message told me 7.2.2 is preview and I shall update if I'm ready to risk 🙂

              It's turned out I'm running 7.1.4, hence a few questions:

              • shouldn't 7.1 -> 7.2 happen automatically?
              • any ETA for 7.2 stabilization? 🙂

              @jdaviescoates , @timconsidine , thanks for the options - I probably would. I was exploring namecheap, but it's turned out to be a bit weird as well...

                @potemkin_ai we are currently rolling out v7.2.2 slowly so it will happen automatically in the course over this week, unless we find some blocking issue.
