Default TLS for E-Mail SMTP Server

i would like to set the TLS option permanent, which is here described:

Lukas@lukas You want to set it to TLSv1 (or some insecure protocol) ? May I ask why if so?

@girish of course my plan is to set it to a secure version, or is there no secure TLS available?
@lukas the default is already secure (TLSv1.2). That doc section is meant for people who want to set insecure protocols.
