      Whenever the container is restarted we seem to lose our custom settings in mydomain.com/admin/setting/mailing-server the Cloudron email settings are overwritten there.

      How can we override this?

        The app needs to support optional email configuration. You don't want it to use the existing Cloudron mail settings, is it? Why not?

          For us, it doesn't work (emails are not delivered) and we prefer to use an external transactional service to send emails.

            @cuzy-app You can also do that by having Cloudron relay the emails to the external service instead of sending them out directly.
