You should be able to to install this in the LAMP app, until it is packaged by someone.

OoooO, I will have to investigate, I have seen LAMP around but never looked into it. Thanks.

My company offers it - pretty stable (it's Rust!) and the developer is really responsive. If you need a stable relay, you're welcome to land on ours - https://www.thedoodleproject.com/relay. We monitor it proactively to prevent the bad things best as possible 🙂 Also, it's free, but signup required.

Thanks, I will take a look at this personally tonight and then put it to our IT Board for a vote. We were looking at doing our own to connect our Charities communities.

We added a "reputable" relay, then next-day porn! Not good we don't want porn to come up as our communities are for support with Mental Health, Health and other topics. We love the whole fediverse idea and it could help a lot of people, but why they add over 18 communities to mixed relays no idea.

It helps communities see content from other communities attached and to find other users from other communities.

Particularly for small instances - it's like boostratpping your little corner of the fediverse.

@mhgcic we have a pretty tight set of principles we follow. Doesn't mean stuff doesn't get through, but we take action pretty fast depending on the severity of the situation

Are they documented and published somewhere?
