Just tried this on a fresh installation but there I was able to add a comment:

Have you installed any plugins which may interfere here? Are there any errors on the app server side or in the browser console?

Adding the following to /app/data/customconfig.py worked for me:

c.Spawner.args = ['--collaborative']

You also need to run /app/code/remove_notebook_containers.py after making changes.

@camille thanks, I have left a note there. We can help them fix/update it if they have interest in keeping mailtrain 1 updated.

This comment was very informative - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ansible/+bug/1833013/comments/6 . I didn't realize you have to pass so many options to make it not ask questions.

Apparently, it was related to email notifications.

The tzdata package will fallback to UTC which is correct already, however sudo on scaleway comes pre-installed with a custom sudoers file, which we want to keep. So the fix is pushed via https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/box/commit/9d237e7bd68f43ae59b4bbc591ef1d7680918567 and will be part of the next release.
