ok, i found the directory. It was the preview directory in the nextcloud instance. After cleaning the directory the backup was succesfull.

i have the same problem, but it stops while backuping my nextcloud instance. Is this a general issue?

yeah, thanks, i just tried both and saw that it is maybe a turn server issue. Now the SFU works

oh yeah, this was the problem, i just saw the 40000 in the install wizzard

ok, thats waht i expected, because no connection could established when i was outside of my network. can i use the cloudron turn server ?

Ports 40000 UDP and TCP are open
the server is in my home network so i have direct connetion to it

I digged a bit deeper in and here are the logs for two requests for the same document. The first one is with the WOPI adress as documented and the second one it with my external real ipv4 adress. Withe the external real ipv4 adress it works and i can open the documents. i found that here "https://github.com/nextcloud/richdocuments/issues/2685"

hi, i have a problem with the wopi adress i think. With wopi blank everything works as assumed. But with the wopi 172.18.0.0/16 not.

Hey, i'm back in this again....

In the meantime i installed a second matrix/element installation on a another domain. After setting it up i was able to invite the people from the second domain into the the rooms of the first domain. This works only if on both servers federation is active. So the content of the first domain server rooms is now also available on the second server domain.

In the next step i want to migrate all users to the second domain server by inviting. After this is done i want to close the first server domain.

Here my question: If all users are now logged in at the second server domain and all chats are available for the users on the second domain, can i stop the first server domain? Or is there any short coming?

second domain = new matrix server on a new domain

I have a problem, but maybe its just an misunderstanding of how the backup process works...

i have two drives for backup
i want to use one for the main backup and the the other one for a backup lets say every month
i thought thats its possible two change in the backup configuration tab between the two drives
but when in change the configuration from the main to the second drive, then make a fresh backup to thie second drive and after that change the configuration back to the main drive, the main drive runs out of space.
is this not possible? Because i thought that the backup process recognize that there are old backups on the main drive and it starts from there and not from new?
