hi, thanks, i found the failure. It occured during a app (talk sfu) update. Before the app is updated the current state is backuped. During this, something happend with the backup disk and the server freezed.
this was 2h after a normal backup, were everything was fine.
The disk is ok, i checked the intergrety.

what i now did is , do toogle the server to a restart when this happens again. I will monitor this and give feedback if this happens again.

yeah, thanks, i just tried both and saw that it is maybe a turn server issue. Now the SFU works

today i found my server the second time this month unresponsive. I had to restart it manually. It was not able to connect, not via web nor via ssh. After the restart the server is available as expected. Only the mongodb was not running, but after a restart of this it was there.
What i found was a cryptic line in the server logs. I just put some lines before and one after here

Im not shure what to do?

i have a question regarding my backup system. I'm using cloudron in my private environment. I have a small nano pc connected with a second SSD drive mounted as my backup location of my cloudron. What I want to do is, mirror the complete backup data over the internet to another pc to have my data at another place.
My first idea was to use syncthing for that problem, but I'm not able to solve this, because there are problems with file system permissions and so on. Can someone help my with his or give me a hint?

Hey, i'm back in this again....

In the meantime i installed a second matrix/element installation on a another domain. After setting it up i was able to invite the people from the second domain into the the rooms of the first domain. This works only if on both servers federation is active. So the content of the first domain server rooms is now also available on the second server domain.

In the next step i want to migrate all users to the second domain server by inviting. After this is done i want to close the first server domain.

Here my question: If all users are now logged in at the second server domain and all chats are available for the users on the second domain, can i stop the first server domain? Or is there any short coming?
