Plugin Installation Questions

Is it possible to install plugins that serve content from the plugins folder? I've tried installing a few of the QR code related plugins and all seem to require serving up new content in the admin interface. Without changing any Apache settings (e.g. in htaccess), the plugins fail to load content with 403 errors.

yes I have tried unpacking a few plugins into the plugin directory. for example, https://techlister.com/plugins-2/qrcode-plugin-for-yourls/ and https://aiaraldea.github.io/qr-google-charts/. After activation, both have resources failing to load in the admin interface with 403 errors.

Last update 9 years ago with open issues stating it is not working https://github.com/aiaraldea/qr-google-charts/issues/3

thanks @james! that github is where I found the links to those plugins. I can keep looking to see if any other plugins generate QR codes within the interface
